About the photograph
Berlin's elevated railway, the Hochbahn, has run on riveted iron viaducts since the early 20th century. Beneath its arches, the sun draws the shadow of the railing on the pavement. A photograph of light and structure, very much of the city.
Portrait format, in black and white. Printed in 30 × 45 and 40 × 60 cm on 308 g/m² 100% cotton paper, signed and numbered by hand (edition of 25 per size).
