About the photograph
Peter Eisenman's Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe opened in 2005 next to the Brandenburg Gate: 2,711 concrete stelae on undulating ground. From inside, the stelae rise above your head and the sky shrinks to a strip. The photograph tries to convey that feeling of contemplation.
Portrait format, in black and white. Printed in 30 × 45, 40 × 60 and 60 × 90 cm on 308 g/m² 100% cotton paper, signed and numbered by hand (edition of 25 per size).
