About the photograph
August Kiss's mounted Amazon guards the steps of the Altes Museum, which Schinkel completed on Museum Island in 1830. In front of the 19th-century bronze, a visitor looks at her phone, oblivious to the scene. The two figures, one bronze and one real, hold the photograph together.
Portrait format, in black and white. Printed in 30 × 45 and 40 × 60 cm on 308 g/m² 100% cotton paper, signed and numbered by hand (edition of 25 per size).
